RDT (Ramcke DatenTechnik) is based in the north of Germany near Hamburg.

Now RDT is standing for the development and distribution of software products for education, PC protection and School management.

The Company's History (1987 until today)

Ramcke DatenTechnik (RDT) was founded in 1987 – a time when the PC was still a fledgeling know only to insiders and – at best – some education professionals dedicated either to electronics or mathematics.

1988 started the development of INiS and the company has since grown quite significantly. Currently 24 employees in Germany and many partners worldwide represent good software and direct service.

RDT started to develop concepts and means for using networked PCs didactically. This led to the development of INiS, our multimedia networked learning platform.

At the same time the need for an efficient and reliable PC protection system became more and more evident. With more PCs being used by multiple users and increased public user access the protection against incidental operating errors or mischievous manipulations was paramount.

RDT developed HDGUARD as an answer to the challenges posed to network administrators by the negligence of the inexperienced user as well as the fantasy of the experienced one.

The HDGUARD protection is available in various formats, as a ‘stand-alone’ PC sentinel or as part of a large centrally controlled network and obviously as an integral part of the INiS two-stage security concept.

Over the last decade RDT has built strategic partnerships with several hard- and software companies to intensify the development of its products. For example since 1998 we are conducting events for teaching and administrational staff all over Germany together with Microsoft and other partners.

Starting to expand its services to Austria and Switzerland in 1997, RDT today serves HDGUARD and INiS customers in Great Britain, Canada, USA, Singapore and Australia among others. These worldwide engagements are supported by RDT’s Australian sales partner, eye4you, and our branch office in the United Kingdom.

New partners 'spread the word' so to increase the interest in RDT products in Malaysia, South Africa and the Gulf region as well as in most European states.
